You choose the loan projects that suit you. For every loan project we publish detailed information so you can build your own portfolio.
You invest in a loan project either by purchasing a share of the loan receivable directly or by subscribing to a bond issued by a LEND special purpose vehicle. Bonds are only used for larger loan amounts. Selection, payment and processing work the same way through your LEND account in both cases.
No, we do not manage bank accounts for our customers because we would need a banking licence to do so. You pay for each investment using a QR invoice, which we send to you by email.
We require your bank details to process payments. If a loan project is successfully financed, we transfer the investors‘ money to the borrower's account. Conversely, we transfer the borrower's payments back to the investors’ bank accounts.
The term of your investment is the same as that of the loan and is specified for each loan project. However, borrowers can repay early, which means that your investment will also be repaid early.
Our investors pay an annual fee of 1.00% of their investment. The fee is deducted directly from the borrower's repayments. If an investor finances CHF 1,000 of a loan, the annual fee is CHF 10.
